Personal note: I taught at the architecture school that Rex Heuermann attended at roughly the same period. He must have attended the city campus and not the Old Westbury one or I’m sure I would have noted his 6’5 hulking evil presence. Very glad he was not in any of my studios. Looks like from the web articles I’ve seen there were bodies piling up around him even then. He apparently had and still has a sinister connection with the Catholic Church.

Just finished reading While Idaho Slept. Very well written, particularly the analysis of Kohberger.

I think there were 2 perps and 2 timelines. And a possible lookout.

My main disrupter: in the heavily treed area one unsub lifted another up to the 3rd level deck, up over the railing, along the deck and he or she entered through M’s window, dispatched Maddie and Kaylee, the latter the target of the two as she had many more wounds. Knowing that the dog was inside Kaylee’s bedroom and not a threat. Knowledge of the house: one can get to the stairway down from the 3rd floor past Dylan’s door and out through the kitchen sliding door directly from Maddie’s room. Entering about 3:30 am while they were both asleep, or at least settled in M’s bed. There was only the sound of the dog put up in Kaylee’s room.

The two girls were calling Kaylee’s BF asking for his help with their co-owned pet, multiple times because Kaylee would be unable to sleep with the frisky dog in her room. Unable to reach him by cell they keep the dog in K’s room and fall asleep together in Maddie’s smaller bedroom. Possible that M did not want the dog messing up her room. Only fair, Kaylee must have decided. The window must have been unlocked. Someone was aware of all this going on. Could they have been aware of boyfriend’s activity far off in the night? Poor Kaylee was only visiting for the weekend, couldn’t sleep in her own larger room, likely saw her beloved friend murdered beside her in Maddie’s cramped single bed.

The other perp used Xana’s 2nd floor window, using a ladder to climb up onto the top of entry canopy in the front, at about 4 am or even earlier, waiting. He or she dispatched Ethan while he was laying down (no noise) and then waited for Xana to come back from the kitchen where she was attending to her food delivery. Surprised and dispatched Xana, with a bit of a struggle and a few choice words, as she came through the bedroom door. Perp left out the same window and fled to the waiting car. Ladder removed when? Not sure that Dylan saw much of anything. One coming down the stairs? One footprint?

Was there a driver, a third perp waiting?

The knife sheath was left as a ‘signature’. I think if it was Kohberger, he wants a trial and the attention, thinking that he’d get off or maybe not. It may not have mattered, he was at the end of his rope. With his career gone it, was either commit suicide or indulge his darkest fantasy.

Perp 2 had a longstanding grudge with Ethan. Cutting of Achilles heels? Another athlete? Observed through Xana’s window with binoculars from the frat house? In league with Kohberger? Met online? Responded to K’s questionaire?

There are some excellent YT channels getting notice from younger XYZ gen creators. They are coming at True Crime from a completely fresh take. Much more digital and social media savvy. More curious about the law. Kind of scared actually, and why not? The Idaho 4 case in particular has brought them out of the woodwork. Off the wall costumes, blaring music, and a strong shared impulse that there is something wrong with this case (Idaho 4). Don’t count them out! Look for Drip Drop of Crime Circus, Unfiltered Lucky, Harsh Reality, Thought Riot, Truth and Transparency, Nika’s Neuro Nuggets and many others.

[House Demo Update: Perp entered from 3rd floor deck, with a hoist up from an accomplice. 1st murder committed at 2:48 am (there is audio) , Kaylee and Maddie. Killer then accessed the attic over Xana’s bedroom and waited there out of sight until she/he heard Ethan fall asleep, then dropped down from the ceiling, killing Ethan and Xana just after 4 am. This was the loud thump heard by the neighbor. Avoided walking down stairs covered with blood. Familiar with the house obviously. Then left through the Kitchen. Seen walking towards Dylan at this time coming from Xana’s bedroom. A driver was waiting] 01/15/24

04/23/2024: police body cam footage at 3:12 am shows 4 figures returning in the direction of the frat houses. Banfield reported the above re: the ‘Band Field’ they were crossing. Eerie! for an elegant solution to the mystery check out 11:11 YouTube channel, episode “OMG OMG OMG”
